    **Location:** On site in Memphis, TN; Charlotte, NC

    Summary:

    First Horizon Bank is seeking a dynamic, experienced Sponsorship Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of sponsorship strategies to align First Horizon Banks brand with specific events, causes or partners, ultimately driving revenue and increasing brand awareness. The role is critical in enhancing brand visibility, creating lead generation for prospecting and building customer loyalty.

     

    Along with experience with sponsorship management, the ideal candidate has a strong background in marketing and relationship management, fulfilling sponsorship obligations, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment

     

    This role requires a solution-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and relationship-building skills, who can execute programs in alignment with the overall marketing strategy and business goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage and Implement Sponsorship Strategies:

    + Manage the sponsorship marketing plan in alignment with overall brand and business goals

    + Seek out and secure sponsorships, negotiating terms and conditions of sponsorship agreements

    + Build and maintain relationships with current and potential sponsors, ensuring that needs are met, and address any issues that may arise

    Fulfilling Sponsorship Obligations:

    + Oversee execution of onsite activations, co-branded promotions and sponsored events

    + Ensure First Horizon Bank receives agreed-upon benefits, such as brand visibility, event access and digital promotions

    + Ensure all assets are delivered on time and meet brand standards

    + Manage vendor and partner relationships related to sponsorships

    Budget and Performance Management:

    + Track the performance of sponsorship programs and measure their impact on brand awareness, lead generation, and other key metrics

    + Manage sponsorship plan to budget, track expenses and ensure cost-effective execution

    Cross functional collaboration:

    + Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver consistent experiences

    + Work closely with Community Relations and Public Relations team on execution

    + Serve as primary liaison between bank and sponsorship partners

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field

    + 5+ years of experience in sponsorships, events or regional activations. Financial or related industry experience preferred.

    + Proven ability to build and maintain long-standing partnerships

    + Established track record of leading large-scale, high-impact programs and teams

    + Excellent project management and communication skills

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively

    + Familiarity with financial marketing compliance standards a plus

    + Proficiency in marketing tools such as CRM platforms, event marketing software a plus

    Skills & Competencies:

    + Ability to execute vision and actionable plans

    + Exceptional collaboration and team-building skills

    + Strong understanding of our business and our footprint and variations between LOBs and regions

    + Data-driven experience in setting and measuring KPIs for marketing initiatives

    + Strong written and verbal communication and relationship management skills

    + Strong experience with budgeting

    + Proficient in marketing tools and platforms (CRM platform, Microsoft Office, project management software)
