Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes, with small business being the largest customer segment and a continued area of investment and focus. The Senior Analyst in this role will sit on the Affiliate Marketing team within the broader Small Business Prospect Marketing team, focusing on acquiring prospects on American Express Small Business Cards.
The **Senior Analyst, Affiliate Marketing** will lead compliance, relationship management, and competitive research for our affiliate acquisition program spanning 30 partners and 14 card products. The role provides an exciting opportunity to lead the end-to-end compliance program across the full card and partner portfolio and drive profitable growth while working in a dynamic and competitive space.
Core Responsibilities
+ Manage and champion compliance and legal channel strategy in an evolving complex landscape, while educating internal partners on channel operations
+ Own and streamline end-to-end compliance processes and program terms that enable partners to sell American Express products. Collaborate closely with affiliates, legal teams, and agencies to ensure alignment and clarity.
+ Lead monitoring and risk management efforts across the affiliate channel by proactively identifying high-risk areas and managing recurring program processes.
+ Partner with our 3rd party agency to coordinate business development opportunities for future Affiliates looking to join the program, and onboarding of all new Affiliate partners.
+ Identify and surface emerging trends by monitoring the competitive landscape within the affiliate channel, providing timely and actionable insights to inform the team.
+ Support the development and delivery of quarterly competitive landscape reports by managing the relationship with our 3rd party insights partner, including facilitating feedback loops and content refinement
+ Provide ad hoc support for team projects, like planning special in-person events with affiliate partners.
+ In partnership with your people leader, contribute to key areas of affiliate strategy and operations, including:
+ Contributing to relationship management through thoughtful outreach, partner support, and collaboration
+ Helping assess performance drivers and trends, with a focus on improving results and identifying areas of opportunity
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience, preferable in financial services or other highly regulated industry
+ Highly collaborative and comfort in a cross-functional environment, with ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
+ Project management experience with meticulous attention to detail
+ Strategic and creative problem solver with intellectual curiosity, passion for challenging the status quo to proactively find opportunities, and ability to anticipate challenges while providing solutions
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to tell a story leveraging qualitative and quantitative evidence
+ Self-starter with ability to navigate complex processes independently and prioritize across multiple projects
+ Enthusiastic and curious; comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
+ Digital marketing, marketing research, or agency management experience a plus
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
