Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The ISSM’s primary function serves as a principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security of information systems under their purview.

Responsibilities include:

+ Develop, implement, and manage the organization's information security policies, procedures, and controls.

+ Lead the development of security standards and best practices for the organization.

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations

+ Identify, evaluate, and mitigate information security risks.

+ Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.

+ Recommend and implement risk-reducing strategies and solutions.

+ Maintain system authorization packages and ensure continuous monitoring of systems under frameworks like RMF (Risk Management Framework).

+ Accomplish obtaining and maintaining the ATO for the our Cyber Defense Network.

+ Coordinate and lead security audits, assessments, and inspections.

+ Develop and oversee incident response plans and procedures.

+ Oversee implementation and monitoring of security controls for hardware, software, and networks.

+ Work with IT and system administrators to ensure systems remain secure through patching, configuration management, and access controls.

+ Ensure secure design and architecture of systems throughout the development lifecycle.

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

+ Must be US Citizen

+ Active TS/SCI security clearance

+ CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

+ Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field

+ Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in information security.
