    Income Tax Associate Manager

    Job Description:

    As an Associate Manager, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role encompasses compliance, provision and planning in a wide range of tax specialty areas including federal tax, international tax, state tax, and technology automation. This position reports to the NA Tax Manager and will work closely with the NA Tax Manager, Tax Director and Finance team. This position will play a key role in process improvement initiatives and other special projects.

     

    This is a hybrid role 3 days per week working from our Atlanta office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review NA tax provisions, effective tax rates, and deferred tax computation roll forwards. Maintain controls documentation and ensure controls are executed.

    • Coordinate information requests with internal and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

    • Manage external consultants in the preparation of federal and state returns and quarterly estimates. Prepare annual property tax and business license filings. • Compute cash tax forecasts and coordinate with Treasury.

    • Participate in special projects working with different business units for transfer pricing, R&D, audits, M&A, transactional tax, property tax and business initiatives.

    • Determine the optimal use of technology to maximize end to end efficiency of provision and compliance processes. Lead and work with key stakeholders to plan and implement changes.

    4+ Years of Skills and Experience in the following areas:

    • Bachelor's degree Accounting/Finance/Business

    • Appropriate US income tax experience with an aptitude for learning

    • Must have strong technology skills, including MS Excel

    • Experience working in a changing environment with a drive to continually improve processes

    • High level of attention to detail, highly organized with excellent analytical skills

    Bonus:

    • HFM, X3 and SAP experience

    • OneSource Tax Provision experience

    Technical / professional qualifications:

    • CPA

    Key performance indicators:

    • Tax department processes are simplified and automated.

    • Tax provision computations and tax models are accurate and performed quickly.

    • Technical analysis of US federal, US state, US International and Canadian regulations are performed and tax impacts are computed correctly.

    • Make sure US corporate income tax compliance is managed timely and accurately.
