CNA night shift, 3 12 hour shifts with an every other weekend rotation

•Delivers nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and is accountable for patient care administered during the shift. Provides patient care to patients including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. __
Essential Key J** **ob Responsibilities
+ Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Cares for patients from infant to geriatric based on the scope of the unit.
+ Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up and maintenance.
+ Must be able to visibly assess patient’s safety needs. Always works with safety as their first priority.
+ Works rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. May be required to float to other areas if needed. Takes call as defined by hospital policy.
+ Assists with unit cleaning and outdated product removal.
+ Passes food trays and assists patients who need help with feeding and tray set up.
+ Transports patients using the wheelchair or gurney.
+ Keeps patient rooms stocked with supplies.
+ Uses AIDET. 10-5 rule and makes consumer experience a priority.
+ Assists other staff as requested and continually looks for opportunities to help co-workers in the care of patients.
+ Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education – Staff Positions
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Completion of a 75-hour nurse aide certification program **or** successful completion of one quarter of nursing fundamentals coursework.
+ Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
Required Licensure and Certifications
+ **Basic Life Support (BLS):** Must be completed within three (3) months of hire.
+ Accepted certification: _American Heart Association – Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers_ .
+ **Mandatory Reporter Training:** Must be completed within three (3) months of hire.
