BJC HealthCare is looking for a Manager, Clinical Performance Improvement. The role will be on site at Missouri Baptist Medical Center managing a team of two. Ideal candidate will have a clinical license, have worked in an acute care hospital and have performance improvement experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Manages clinical performance improvement projects that address our publicly reported metrics, the internal Safety & Quality scorecard, UHC Quality & Accountability scorecard and the organization’s Safety & Quality strategic priorities. Leads and direct the work of the PI teams and collaborates with the Director of Patient Safety / Clinical Performance Improvement to establish department priorities. The manager will have oversight of the department and team data management process.
Responsibilities
+ Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
+ Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
+ Provides oversight to the UHC database and collaborates with the database coordinator to ensure the data accuracy and quality for submission
+ Provides oversight of data collection activities for submission to outside accrediting agencies and benchmarking organizations in regards to data entry time line compliance and validation of data collection accuracy
+ Provides consult services in the area of quality management to individuals, special projects, and executive and clinical departments throughout the organization ensuring compliance with national standards
+ Provides data management support for the Safety & Quality department to ensure ongoing organizational compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, risk management and regulatory compliance
