    Job Description

    The Senior Business Systems Analyst (SBSA) is responsible for bridging business needs in technology solutions. This role involves conducting in-depth analysis, feasibility assessments, and gap analyses to define requirements for system changes and integrations. The SBSA drives successful deployments by crafting use cases, business process models, and data models while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. As a key liaison between business units and IT teams, the SBSA facilitates collaboration, conducts reviews using performance metrics, and supports projects involving integrations across enterprise ecosystems such as ERP systems and external platforms. This role also ensures robust controls and reporting mechanisms to maintain compliance and optimize business processes. This role pays between 95-105K max annually.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5-10 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst (technical/software development engagements)

    • Experienced as a BA from a project and support perspective (troubleshooting applications assigned to them)

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science(IT Management Degree ideal)

    • Experience writing User Stories using Jira or Azure DevOps

    • Ability to write medium level SQL scripts, system product delivery (APIs/Integrations)

    • Ability to read complex SQL queries and translate to the business users

    • Proficiency in pivot tables, V-lookups, and mockups in Excel.

    • Experience writing process documents to tell a visual story using Luid (preferred), Visio or equivalent

    • Experience working in hybrid environments - (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) - Heavier Agile/Scrum

    • Working exposure and experience with Smart Sheets as Project Management tool

    • Basic data understanding and proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.

    • Experience working with a matrixed team on large complex initiatives and ability to execute to KPIs and drive outcome.

    • Ability to manage ambiguity and demonstrate perseverance, intrinsically motivated and resourceful

     

    Strong written and verbal communication skills · IT Management Degree
