• Lead Digital Controls Nuclear Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global's client is looking for a Lead Digital/Electrical Nuclear Engineer to sit in their Chattanooga office. This person will oversee proposal development and guide engineers in creating deliverables for nuclear projects within Electrical, Controls, and Digital disciplines. They will serve as a technical point of contact for customers, lead engineering teams, and provide expertise in industry-standard design and calculations for commercial nuclear modifications. Additionally, this person will collaborate with engineers and designers to prepare design change packages for operating nuclear plants and facilities. Prepare engineering change packages (ECs), scoping documents, and cost estimates for Electrical, I&C, and Digital modifications. Conduct field walkdowns to assess plant configurations. This person will also perform Digital I&C design activities, including system requirements, network architecture, control logic, and HMI modifications as well as generate cyber assessments and component classifications per 10CFR73.54 and NEI 08-09, ensuring documentation for client Cyber Security Assessment Teams.

    Skills and Requirements

    8 Years of experience in the design of digital controls systems

    - 4 years of experience in Commercial Nuclear Environment Machine/equipment Design experience null
