    Job Description

    An employer is looking for a Databricks Engineer to join the Enterprise Data & Analytics team for one of our top clients in the Nation. This team is currently looking for someone who has come up from a Data warehousing discipline and has since become a strong Databricks and Python Developer. The team is transitioning into Databricks with new project work and are looking for someone who can come in and provide support there as well as start to set the standards for Databricks engineering across the team. This role is going to continue to evolve and there is plenty of work in the pipeline making it a great time to join the team and add immediate value!

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role

     

    - Need deep knowledge in FiveTran or DataBricks as both are key needs. If both great, but not required

     

    - Knowledge and perspective on what to capability to use for different scenarios, e.g. standard views, DLT pipelines,

     

    - Build and deploying CI/CD using GitLab and integrating with Asset Bundles to move workflow from 1 environment to another

     

    - Experience with Delta Live Tables (DLT) Pipelines

     

    - Python and Pyspark coding skills are critical

     

    - FiveTran experience should include HVR, cloud version is not our go-forward.

     

    - FiveTran- understanding load options and connecting to a variety of data source types

     

    - Eager to learn in this ever-evolving space
