Responsibilities

Develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies related to the physician practice operations.

+ Develop goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

+ Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.

+ Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensures compliance with allocated funding.

+ Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.

+ Direct and evaluates practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Requirements

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ Cardiology practice or Ambulatory management experience
