• Senior WPF Developer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Senior WPF Developer for one of our largest oil and gas clients in Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for working with a team of mid to senior level developers on new application development as well as enhancing/supporting existing applications. This personal will also be expected to have experience gathering requirements and architecting/designing solutions to existing business application problems. The ideal candidate for this position will come from an oil and gas background, have 5+ years of experience with .NET framework with full development lifecycle experience, strong user interface design skills, and be a self starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. This position is fully onsite, 5 days a week, in downtown Houston, TX, and the pay range for this position will be between $65-75/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

    5+ years of experience in .NET Framework and full lifecycle development, specifically utilizing .NET 4.x, .NET Core, C#, WPF/XAML, MVVM, ASP.Net MVC, and other 3rd party components

     

    Experience developing REST APIs using C#, .NET or Python/FastAPI

     

    Experience creating and maintaining fully automated build processes for Docker environment using GitHub Actions and Version tools.

     

    Strong communication skills and willingness to gather requirements and communicate with stakeholders Experience with Elastic Search

    Experience with Javascript techniques including ReactJS, Redux, and ES6/ES7 null
