Job Description

Insight Global is looking to add a TS Cleared Network Systems SME to a client's program based in Fort Meade, MD. This individual will provide mission critical support for the IP voice transport network by optimizing, implementing, and maintaining complex networks with a focus on security, availability, and performance. They will work closely with operations, management, and stakeholders to ensure the network is secure and optimally functioning. They will be responsible for Tier 3 network and security support issues, providing system optimization design / implementation / testing / maintenance. They will also independently conduct network assessments, identify possible vulnerabilities, and recommend/develop solutions to problems found. This role is 5 days a week onsite. Minimal travel required.

12-15 years of experience engineering and troubleshooting networks (BGP, MPLS, VPNs, OSPF, VoIP, LLDP, VLANs, IS-IS, Spanning Tree Protocol)

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree

Prior experience engineering and troubleshooting networks (BGP, MPLS, VPNs, OSPF, VoIP, LLDP, VLANs, IS-IS, Spanning Tree Protocol)

Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Security+ Certification

Prior Juniper experience

Previous experience with IP voice transport networks Active Top Secret SCI

Masters Degree

Prior experience with Ribbon Session Border Controllers (SBC) null
