    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Medical Assistant to join a family practice and internal medicine clinic in San Clemente, CA. This will mainly be a back office role, but may need to help out in the front office if needed. We are looking for someone who is a team player and who can be flexible, this person needs to be comfortable with assisting in various tasks and help when/where as needed. This person will not be assigned to support only one specific doctor, but will be helping around with multiple doctors where needed. Duties include: preplanning patient visits, rooming patients, completing tasks in inbox from the providers, ensure referrals and labs are completed and logged, and other various responsibilities as needed. This person will be joining a team with 2 front desk receptionists, 2 back office medical assistants, and a total of 4 providers. This clinic mostly works with a geriatric patient population.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Medical Assistant diploma or certification

     

    BLS certification from American Heart Association

     

    High school diploma or GED

     

    Experience with an EMR system

     

    Team player and good customer service skills Bilingual English and Spanish

    Epic EMR experience null
