• Helicopter Mechanic Technician - Secret Clearance

    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Helicopter Mechanic Technician to support our client in Cheyenne, WY. This individual will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and inspections on a variety of ground support equipment, including diesel and gas engines, hydraulic power units, heaters, air conditioners, and associated handling gear. They will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and structural components to ensure optimal functionality. The role includes overseeing the assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of equipment, as well as preparing for calibration and testing procedures. Additional responsibilities include corrosion control and fabrication tasks such as cleaning, priming, painting metal surfaces, and fabricating simple parts to support equipment operations. This individual will also conduct validation and verification testing of systems and components, inspect repairs, and document procedures to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. The schedule is 1st shift 7:00-3:30pm, but must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

    Skills and Requirements

    Secret Clearance

    3 years of experience with helicopter mechanical maintenance and ground support equipment maintenance

     

    Experience with preventative maintenance, diesel and gas engines, hydraulic power units, and heaters.

     

    Must have thorough knowledge of ground safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, spill prevention and PPE usage Experience with MH-139 maintenance or modifications null
