    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an IT Manufactuing Specialist to support the warehouse operations of one of the nation's largest production residential home builders. This position is Fully on-site role in Florence, SC, MondayFriday, with occasional weekend support and one on call shift a week if required.

     

    The IT Manufacturing Specialist works closely with the Manufacturing Management Team to install, maintain, and support a variety of IT systems and services. This includes hardware (computers, printers, AV equipment), software (including third-party and internal business applications), and technology used in manufacturing operations. Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments is a plus.

     

    - Ensure fast response times to minimize system downtime.

     

    - Install and maintain IT equipment in the manufacturing facility.

     

    - Coordinate office IT needs with the corporate service center.

     

    - Support and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and manufacturing tech.

     

    - Perform software installations and updates.

     

    - Collaborate with third-party vendors and escalate unresolved issues as needed.

     

    - Log detailed service notes in the helpdesk system.

     

    - Communicate effectively with management on issue status and resolutions.

     

    - Participate in team projects and contribute to IT initiatives.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3-5 years of experience in a IT support role in a manufacturing or industrial environment

    - Microsoft 360 experience - experience with the MiTek's suite null
