Job Description
Our client is seeking a Food Quality Compliance Specialist to join their team in King of Prussia, PA - this role requires travel 50-60% of the time across the U.S, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil. In this role, you will work closely with both internal business teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with food safety requirements, standards, and ways of working. Your primary responsibilities will include planning and conducting food-related audits and verifications, executing assessments, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. You will also coach and inspire teams and suppliers to adopt a culture of continuous improvement and compliance, using problem-solving tools to address quality deviations.
A key part of your role will involve reviewing documentation related to the FDAs Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP), hazard analyses, and food safety procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. You will lead and facilitate training sessions for both internal and external stakeholders to build competence in local, global, and client-specific food safety standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining internal systems with audit results and compliance data, ensuring supplier and product compliance with GFSI standards, and contributing to global and local quality-related projects.

Skills and Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in food quality assurance, food engineering, or production development
- Strong auditing experience and skills
- Certification and practical knowledge of HACCP and HARPC
- Working knowledge of GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards
- Understanding of FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) rules and preventive controls
- Familiarity with general food safety laws and regulations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil
- Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally - Preventative Control Qualified Individual (PCQI)
- Fluent in Spanish or French null
