    Credit Analyst

    What We Are Looking For:

    Join a Federal Contract supporting a government-backed loan program as a Credit Analyst. The position is fully onsite and potential for full-time (W2) or part-time (1099) roles. Multiple positions available and must live in the Greater Washington D.C. region: Virginia, the District, or Maryland.

    Requirements:

    + U.S. Citizenship

    + Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Similar

    + 5+ years of experience in federal and commercial underwriting

    + Familiarity with GAAP, FCRA, and OMB Circular A-129

    + Skilled in complex debt structuring and assessing private sector project finance

    + Technology Sector underwriting experience

    + Must pass Federal Background Check

    Skills:

    + Assess applicants’ financial capacity

    + Ensure compliance with applicable regulations

    + Identify and mitigate credit risks

    + Support the development of well-documented, risk-adjusted underwriting decisions

    + Contribute to loan structuring

    + Assist in effectively communicating decisions to applicants

    Preferred:

    + Masters or MBA

    + Federal Government Loan experience

    + Program Management Professional certification, CPA, Chartered Financial Analyst
