    Auto Body Detail Technician - WE Shift

    Grow a Cooler career with Chart Industries by supporting our Fan Shop Operations as a SAND & PATCHER! This position is Friday through Sunday, with ability to pick up other shifts during the week, if desired. Day shift and Night shift availability.

     

    _What Will You Do?_

    _What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_

    + Performs general manual labor tasks, including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials

    + Assists in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed

    + Responsible for cutting, grinding, sanding, smoothing and “body work” on fiberglass composite parts for the purpose of refining cosmetic appearance up to standards.

    + Work with pneumatic tools including cut off saw, angle grinder, orbital sander

    REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

    + Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

    + Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

    + Ability to work under general supervision

    + Job functions require exercising independent judgment on when to engage supervision on quality and production process standard questions

     

    _Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    + Must be able to work inside dust booth environment

    + Must be able to work in fiberglass conditions including long strand fibers and dust

    REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS

    + Safety Glasses

    + Steel Toe Shoes

    + Ear Plugs

    + Gloves

    + Protective Coveralls

    + Sports Belt (optional)

    + Respiratory protection
