Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS/CUSTSPT) in the Program of Record Support Division of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION N6. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will establish and maintain user access to NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) functions and NET data for the NETC claimant. You will approve User Account Transfer Requests from other claimants on a routine basis. You will perform all Service transfers to new ordering UIC within and external to the NETC claimant. You will troubleshoot and document NET issues/problems before presenting to NET Helpdesk to ensure correct resolution in a timely manner You will report NET issues/problems of a more serious nature as needed to the NET Helpdesk those results in either a Change Request (CR) or Deficiency Report (DR) You will maintain a number of special reports in the Ad Hoc (NET-ADHOC) Reporting tool in NET to better represent NET data to facilitate a deeper understanding. You will prepare and provide training material to ACTR, DCTR, and PMO for new NET features or existing processes. You will represent NETC at the CAG, prioritize CR/DR documents for NET releases, support NMCI/NGEN tool development, and participate in NETWG teleconferences to address NET-related issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring the progress of Refresh Services to ensure asset data, specifically Service Delivery Date and Asset ID, is received in NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) and Services achieve reconciled status; 2) Developing and providing training materials to the command for new NET features or existing processes; 3) Providing guidance and training of new or modified NET functions and processes to ensure NET users possess the necessary knowledge and skills required to effectively management NMCI Services in NET; 4) Reporting NET issues/problems of a more serious nature as needed to the NET Helpdesk resulting in either a Change Request (CR) or Deficiency Report (DR) for later consideration for a maintenance or feature release of NET; and 5) Managing the Organization Code table in NET. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
