    We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead our Free tier growth strategy globally covering all platforms (mobile, web, Alexa). You’ll work across Amazon Music research, design, product, engineering, finance, and licensing teams to define, build, and launch improvements across the customer lifecycle which will drive engagement on the tier and retention of the customer base - directly contributing to Amazon Music’s growth and profitability. In this role, you will own the product vision and roadmap, working backwards from the Free tier customer needs. You will create, define, test, and iterate on new features and functionality that drive KPIs through a robust slate of ongoing experiments, working closely with design and engineering. You will lean into customer research and engagement data to prioritize and iterate on features, working alongside business intelligence to identify insights and opportunities. You will partner with other Amazon Music teams and external organizational such as Alexa to re-think new business models or locale-based opportunities.

    Key job responsibilities

    * Own the roadmap and strategy to drive Free tier growth working backwards from the Free tier customer needs

    * Define and execute on a strategy based on customers research and insights

    * Run lots of experiments— design, testing, A/B tests and analysis

    * Analyze customer research and data, work with BI to create dashboards

    * Global stakeholder management and strong collaboration with locale-based teams

    * Create mechanisms to drive product alignment and decision making across tech teams, marketing, and other internal stakeholders

    * Lead reviews with senior level executives

    Basic Qualifications

    - 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

     

    - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree

     

    - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

     

    - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

     

    - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

     

    - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

     

    - Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
