Description
Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead fraud management programs that support Amazon Currency Converter (ACC) business.
The candidate will be responsible for the following: 1) working with product, machine learning, risk, and operational teams to define fraud management and prevention strategies; 2) launch, managed and optimize fraud programs deriving from the established fraud prevention strategy; 3) define metrics and reporting to monitoring for program performance.
As this is a global role and cross-functional role, the candidate will leverage their management and leadership capabilities to influence leadership and partner teams, define fraud strategies and operational procedures. While this role will own policies and processes, they will also be responsible for instituting a scalable mechanism for reporting, metrics setting, and other key processes across multiple owners to track performance.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, technical, high energy environment. They are a creative, innovative, and an analytical problem solver with a passion for delivering results. Experience in e-commerce fraud and fraud investigations is a plus.
Key job responsibilities
* Identify and evaluate new strategies for fraud verification and operational implementation.
* Own and develop policies, process, and implement them across teams globally.
* Lead and manage fraud programs across the ACC businesses.
* Manage and report out on projects, status, and work with teams to remove any project blockers.
* Develop metrics, goals and KPIs to measure and track business results.
* Develop standard business review formats and communication cadences (weekly, monthly project status and reports).

Amazon Payment Products (APP) serves tens of millions of customers worldwide through a global portfolio of products, delighting them with best-in-class rewards, easy access to credit as well as the simplicity to sell or buy cross-border on Amazon in their local currency. The global portfolio of products APP currently negotiates, builds, and manages includes Co-brand Credit Cards, Private Label Credit Cards, Shop with Points, Installments, and Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers and Buyers.
Amazon Currency Converter (ACC) provides a better payment experience for cross-border Buyers and Sellers worldwide and extends Amazon’s reach beyond the borders of our existing Stores. ACC owns two services: Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) and Amazon Currency Converter for Buyers (ACCB). ACCS enables Sellers to sell in more countries by making it easier to get paid in their local currency to their home bank account, thus increasing the number of Sellers and product selection on Amazon stores. ACCB makes it easier for international Buyers to pay in their local currency, improving the international customer experience and increasing the number of customers shopping on Amazon sites. ACC generates free cash flow and directly impacts the Amazon Flywheel.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in cross-functional environments.
- Experience in financial or payment industries
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
