Summary
The Regional Merchandising Specialist is a field-based role responsible for executing and overseeing critical retail merchandising initiatives across the US. This position plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence through hands-on leadership, project execution, and team development. The Regional Merchandising Specialist leads in-store teams while actively participating in merchandising tasks such as category resets, new item cut-ins, audits, and technology-driven initiatives.
Essential Duties
+ Travel to a variety of retail locations to execute merchandising initiatives including but not limited to full category resets, new item cut-ins, technology enabled projects, stocking, and audits
+ Complete all assigned merchandising projects within those retail locations on a daily/weekly basis
+ Travel extensively to respond to urgent and systemic field coverage issues, as well lead teams of merchandisers and/or temps in critical markets across the US
+ Submit all work orders and photos in a complete manner using SmartSystem and the SmartPM app the same day it was completed
+ Actively lead and participate in all in-store merchandising tasks while training, coaching, and developing team members on site
+ Ensure consistent execution of company merchandising standards, timelines, and compliance across locations
+ Maintain a safe work environment for yourself, employees, and customers by carrying out tasks in accordance with safe work practices
+ Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key store personnel
+ Other tasks and duties that may arise to meet Driveline’s business needs
Requirements
+ Have a valid driver’s license
+ Access to reliable transportation
+ Reliable access to a smartphone with Internet access and the ability to download and utilize the SmartPM app
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent technology skills
+ Ability to travel frequently and adapt well to changing work environments
+ Agreement to assume responsibility for any client components or supplies in your possession and agreement to return such materials as required by management
Education and Experience Requirements
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 1 – 2 years of merchandising or retail experience is preferred
Travel Requirements
+ Approximately 50-70% travel is required: Frequent travel to stores and working with employees across the country is required.
+ Overnight stays may be required throughout the work week as dictated by business objectives and district boundaries.
