    We are looking for a Field Launch Manager (FLM) to lead the successful launch of new customer engagements across North America. As part of the Amazon Business Services (ABServ) team, you will be the on-the-ground owner of new customer onboarding, responsible for translating business requirements into operational execution and ensuring launch readiness through rigorous standards, training, and customer obsession.

     

    The Field Launch Manager plays a critical role post-sale, partnering with customers and internal teams to bring services online seamlessly and at scale. You will act as the face of the organization on-site, ensuring Amazon’s high operational bar is met while navigating ambiguity, solving problems in real time, and driving a consistent and high-quality experience for customers and partners alike.

     

    This is a 100% travel role, with frequent on-site presence required at customer locations. You will work closely with stakeholders in Business Development, Operations, Vendor Management, and Product to support everything from launch planning through execution, training, and post-launch stabilization.

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Own on-the-ground launch execution for new customer sites, from planning to post-launch stabilization.

     

    - Act as the primary on-site partner for customers during launch, ensuring service readiness, standards adherence, and a frictionless startup experience.

     

    - Conduct training for customer teams and service providers, ensuring alignment to program expectations and operational standards.

     

    - Partner cross-functionally with ABServ Operations, Vendor Management, Business Development, and Product to coordinate launch activities and resolve friction points.

     

    - Identify and escalate blockers to timeline or quality; work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field.

     

    - Audit service quality during launch and establish feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.

     

    - Serve as the subject matter expert for launch best practices and process consistency across customer segments and regions.

     

    - Document learnings, surface trends, and drive improvements to the launch playbook.

     

    - Contribute to scaling mechanisms that reduce variation and improve the repeatability of customer onboarding.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of with Excel experience

     

    - 5+ years of retail, operations or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience

     

    - Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time across North America.

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

     

    - Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements

     

    - Experience in Operations, specifically in logistics or field services

     

    - Experience launching customer-facing services or onboarding enterprise clients in a B2B or services environment.

     

    - Background in training, field enablement, or quality assurance.

     

    - Continuous improvement mindset with experience creating or improving launch processes.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $127,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
