Finance Manager, One Medical

Description
It is Day 1 for Amazon One Medical, and we need a Finance Manager to join our One Medical Finance team to help shape the strategy for this high-growth investment area. This role will directly support our Product and Tech team, helping business partners value new strategic growth opportunities and provide recommendations on product development prioritization through financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, curiosity, excellent analytical abilities, and superior written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will also have a strong bias towards data-driven decision-making and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role will require quickly learning and fully grasping the business's economics to understand the big picture, gaining proficiency in our data systems to capture the right details, and communicating clearly and succinctly to effectively partner with business leaders and influence decisions.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a finance partner to the One Medical Membership team.
• Partner with business teams to perform financial evaluations of the overall One Medical membership offering.
• Develop in-depth customer cohort reporting with BI and work cross-functionally with Marketing to optimize CAC to LTV ratios.
• Influence the membership program pricing strategy and provide controllership over revenue and cost impacts of new benefits in the offering.
• Work directly with management and internal stakeholders to provide financial controllership over headcount and budget.
• Build and manage reporting and forecasting of various KPIs to inform business performance, financial risks, and opportunities.
• Report on financial performance and provide VPs and Director-level leadership with weekly, monthly, and annual financial reviews.
• Develop ad-hoc business analyses and present recommendations to senior management.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
