Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BI Developer with expertise in SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools to join our team. This role is ideal for a experienced BI detail oriented who not only has advanced technical skills but also aspires to transition into leadership and management. As a Senior BI Developer, you will lead data initiatives, design innovative BI solutions, and play a critical role in mentoring entry level team members. This is a growth-oriented position with a defined pathway toward management opportunities. Requirements

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI, SQL, and similar BI tools. Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse environments to support reporting and analytics. Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and efficiency. Develop and maintain enterprise BI solutions, making key decisions in data visualization best practices. Create innovative dashboards and actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization. Oversee the integration and maintenance of BI tools within the organization's infrastructure. Mentor and guide entry level BI Developers and team members, sharing best practices and technical knowledge. Stay updated on the latest BI trends and tools, evaluating new technologies to improve workflow efficiency. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic BI initiatives for long-term organizational growth. Assist in standing up processes that promote best practices in collaboration, data governance, and team leadership.

Qualifications: Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, performance tuning, and ETL processes. Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and creating dynamic dashboards. Experience with additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schema design and ETL pipelines. Familiarity with cloud-based data services (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is a strong plus. Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database concepts. detail oriented Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on BI development experience in a corporate setting. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and interface with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Experience in leading projects or mentoring entry level team members is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex data issues and provide scalable solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on translating data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Leadership Pathway: Strong interest and competency in taking on team leadership and managerial responsibilities over time. Past experience in training or mentorship is a plus but not required.
