    Description

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting production planning activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Inventory Management:

    + Monitor stock levels, forecast material needs, and maintain optimal inventory to avoid shortages or overstock situations.

    Production Planning Support:

    + Collaborate with planning and production teams to ensure materials are available in alignment with the production schedule.

    Supplier Relationship Management:

    + Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships, track supplier performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

    Data Analysis & Reporting:

    + Use data to assess purchasing trends, inventory turnover, and supplier performance. Prepare regular reports to support decision-making and identify process improvements.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of experience in a buying, procurement, or supply chain role

    + Strong analytical skills

    + Proficiency in NetSuite

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
