Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Post Closer to join our team in Linthicum, Maryland. As part of the mortgage industry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of closing-related documentation. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and scan post-closing files to maintain accurate records.

• Log incoming mail and track missing closing packages to ensure timely completion.

• Perform data entry tasks within company systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage general post-closing filing duties, including purging outdated documents.

• Maintain compliance with industry standards while handling closing documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless processing of post-closing activities.

• Utilize tools like Adobe Acrobat and banking software to streamline workflows.

• Troubleshoot discrepancies in closing packages and resolve issues promptly.

• Support other administrative duties as required to maintain operational efficiency. Requirements • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.

• Proficiency in data entry and document management systems.

• Familiarity with mortgage-related software and tools, including Adobe Acrobat.

• Knowledge of closing processes and banking regulations.

• Experience with CRM systems and automated underwriting systems is a plus.

• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with the team.

• Previous experience in loan administration or servicing is preferred.
