Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing while providing excellent support to clients. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the payroll services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify employee work hours to ensure accurate payroll reporting.

• Assist clients in updating their payroll accounts and resolving any related inquiries.

• Maintain precise records and documentation for payroll activities.

• Collaborate with the team to manage special payroll-related projects as assigned.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present payroll data efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with all payroll policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide timely and thoughtful responses to client payroll concerns.

• Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance payroll operations. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing or a related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.

• Excellent communication skills for working with clients and team members.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Knowledge of payroll policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payroll issues.

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
