Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr IT Auditor to join our team in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of compliance and audit initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in assessing processes, developing, managing audit programs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine procedures to align with policy best practices and ensure consistent compliance.

• Establish repeatable processes to support ongoing regulatory adherence.

• Strengthen and enhance the organization's audit program to achieve operational excellence.

• Analyze audit evidence and operational data, drawing logical conclusions to support findings.

• Collaborate to review evidence, address remediation efforts with owners, and monitor exceptions.

• Interpret audit findings and provide actionable recommendations to improve compliance.

• Document processes and policies to ensure clarity and alignment with industry standards.

• Familiar with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance.

• Manage audit compliance initiatives within the banking sector.

• Work with internal teams to track and resolve audit issues effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in information systems auditing, including interpreting audit evidence.

• Strong understanding of audit programs and findings analysis.

• Knowledge of AML, BSA, and banking compliance regulations.

• Expertise in compliance auditing and process documentation.

• Ability to develop and implement repeatable compliance processes.

• Familiarity with audit program development and management.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Prior experience in a banking, credit union or financial services environment is preferred.
