    Position Overview

    We are seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team on a temporary or temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations, demonstrating strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role offers the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, copying, scanning, and managing correspondence (emails, letters, and phone calls).

    + Scheduling and Coordination: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including booking conference rooms and arranging virtual meeting platforms.

    + Document Management: Prepare, edit, and organize documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software.

    + Customer Service: Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and provide professional assistance to clients, vendors, and team members.

    + Office Organization: Maintain office supplies, monitor inventory, and ensure a tidy and functional office environment.

    + Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input data into databases or spreadsheets and maintain up-to-date records.

    + Support Special Projects: Assist with ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors, such as event planning or research.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Experience: 1-2 years of administrative or office support experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong skills will be considered.

    + Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).

    + Soft Skills:

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.

    + Professional demeanor with a customer-service-oriented attitude.

    + Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities.

    + Preferred: Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook) or basic knowledge of project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana).
