Description Robert Half is seeking a experienced Usability Specialist to join a customer experience team for a 4-month hybrid contract in Bellevue, WA. In this role, you’ll help reimagine how millions of customers engage with their purchases post-checkout. You’ll lead and support user research initiatives, coach designers on usability best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape intuitive, customer-centered experiences.

Responsibilities: Conduct and support user research across the customer journey using methods such as usability testing, surveys, interviews, and field studies. Assist in training and supporting designers in best practices with using usertesting.com. Mentor designers in research planning, execution, and analysis to elevate research quality. Collaborate with stakeholders to define research goals and translate insights into actionable design and business strategies. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover customer insights and inform product direction. Manage multiple overlapping projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in e-commerce or delivery service research. Background in coaching or training on research methods. Familiarity with global user research and behavioral science. Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Strong storytelling skills to communicate research findings effectively. Requirements Advanced degree in Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, or related field. 7+ years of experience conducting user research across product development stages. Expertise with UserTesting.com and remote research tools. Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to collaborate with design and cross-functional teams.
