    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Fairfax, Virginia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

     

    Your responsibilities in this role

     

    - Handle and route all incoming phone calls

     

    - Submit orders for office and kitchen supplies

     

    - Manage various office files and provide general office filing support

     

    - Be an asset to other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks

     

    - Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail according to specified procedures

     

    - Create a welcoming environment for visitors

     

    - Wield strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year of office experience.

    • Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and switchboards.

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Ability to manage inbound calls effectively and provide exceptional customer service.

    • Familiarity with basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping.
