Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and/or commercial properties. The Property Manager will ensure properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and financial objectives are met. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and management skills to maintain high-quality property performance and tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Property Operations: Oversee day-to-day management of properties, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
+ Tenant Relations: Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally. Facilitate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
+ Financial Management: Collect rent, manage budgets, and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and expenses.
+ Marketing and Leasing: Advertise vacant units, conduct property tours, and screen potential tenants to ensure high occupancy rates.
+ Vendor Coordination: Negotiate contracts with vendors, supervise maintenance staff, and coordinate repairs or renovations to maintain property standards.
+ Compliance: Ensure properties adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including housing laws, safety codes, and environmental standards.
+ Reporting: Provide regular updates to property owners or management companies on property status, financial performance, and tenant feedback.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.
+ Licensing: Valid Property Management License or Real Estate License (if required by state regulations).
+ Skills:
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
+ Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium).
+ Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
+ Basic financial acumen for budgeting and reporting.
+ Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
