• Senior Property Accountant Opportunity 🌟

Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for the real estate sector? We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join a dynamic team in Los Angeles and take ownership of accounting functions across multiple multifamily properties. • Location: Los Angeles, CA | Onsite

• Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead monthly accounting close processes, including operational activity documentation.

+ Prepare detailed schedules to support financial statements and records.

+ Manage bank reconciliations, rental income tracking, and expense accruals.

+ Oversee fixed assets, depreciation calculations, and property accounting.

+ Collaborate on financial forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.

+ Reconcile subsidiary ledgers, analyze bad debt, and record payroll activity.

+ Assist with quarterly consolidations and annual auditing processes.

+ Provide accounting support for investment funds and ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Skills & Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field), with accounting focus.

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably multifamily property management or commercial real estate.

+ Proficiency in GAAP, modified cash basis, and cash basis accounting.

+ Strong analytical capabilities to interpret partnership agreements, cash flow analyses, and investments.

+ Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

+ Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and variance reporting.

• Preferred Experience:

+ Background in public and private accounting sectors.

+ Knowledge of investment accounting methods and fair value reporting.

• Tech Tools You’ll Use:

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
