• Data Integrity Specialist - EMPI

    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Integrity Specialist to join our client's remote team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of critical healthcare data, supporting patient care and organizational operations. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment within the healthcare industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor task queues for data integrity issues, including duplicates, overlaps, and overlays, ensuring timely resolution.

    • Resolve data discrepancies within established national or facility-specific timeframes to maintain data accuracy.

    • Prioritize and address escalated duplicate records to support seamless patient care.

    • Communicate notifications to downstream applications during the remediation of data integrity issues.

    • Investigate and rectify interface errors to ensure proper patient registration in electronic health records.

    • Collaborate with information technology teams on application stability, including upgrades, testing, and system maintenance.

    • Support the implementation and integration of healthcare systems and databases to enhance operational efficiency.

    • Ensure adherence to data integrity standards and protocols, minimizing errors and inconsistencies.

    • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve data management processes and outcomes.

    Requirements

    • Associate degree in a relevant field, or a high school diploma with three years of related experience.

    • Familiarity with healthcare operations and prior experience working with information technology systems.

    • Strong understanding of EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index) software

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including creating dashboards and utilizing business intelligence tools.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to maintain data accuracy.
