Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager/Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle while collaborating with various departments such as asset management, construction, development, IT, and legal. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in contract administration, this role is ideal for you.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and closeout.
• Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address contract-related needs and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and amendments using appropriate systems and tools.
• Conduct audits to ensure contracts adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage billing functions and ensure timely processing of payments aligned with contract terms.
• Provide support for claim administration and related documentation.
• Review and edit contracts using tools like Adobe Acrobat to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in coordinating clinical trial operations and other specialized projects as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure efficient contract management workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in contract management, paralegal work, or a related field within real estate or corporate environments.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Avaya CMS, and other business systems.
• Strong understanding of amendments, auditing processes, and billing functions.
• Familiarity with claim administration and clinical trial operations.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of procurement practices and vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
