Description We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Holland NT, Ohio. In this role, you will focus on managing commercial collections and maintaining positive relationships with clients while ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contact business customers to address and resolve outstanding payments in a detail-oriented and efficient manner.

• Handle commercial collections by negotiating payment terms and resolving disputes.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions and transactions related to collections.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and ensure smooth communication.

• Utilize call center tools and systems to manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.

• Analyze customer accounts to identify overdue balances and recommend appropriate action.

• Provide excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Monitor and report on collection activities to ensure targets are met.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce overdue accounts.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to commercial collections. Requirements • Proven experience in B2B collections or commercial collections.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations.

• Familiarity with call center operations and managing high call volumes.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in using collections management systems and tools.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Knowledge of credit and collections processes.

• Ability to analyze customer accounts and recommend solutions.
