    Description

    Overview:

    Robert Half is partnering with a leading plumbing and drainage company to hire a dependable and organized Dispatcher. This is a full-time role with a consistent Saturday through Wednesday schedule, ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced, operational environments and are comfortable being the central point of communication between customers and field teams. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in day-to-day operations by ensuring technicians are effectively scheduled and dispatched to meet service needs across the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch service calls for plumbing and drainage technicians

    + Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, updates, and timelines

    + Monitor field technician progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate emergencies or delays

    + Accurately document job details, service notes, and customer communications in dispatch software

    + Act as the liaison between office staff and field technicians to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution

    + Maintain detailed service logs and ensure data accuracy for all scheduled jobs

    + Assist with administrative tasks and provide operational support to the team as needed

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of dispatching, scheduling, or administrative coordination experience (ideally in plumbing, HVAC, or a similar trades environment)

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Experience using dispatch or field service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar)

    + Ability to work onsite and maintain the required Saturday through Wednesday schedule

    + High school diploma or equivalent required
