    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders and ensuring high standards of service and efficiency. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys cross-functional collaboration.

    Responsibilities:

    + Accurately enter and process customer orders into the order management system.

    + Verify order information, including pricing, availability, and shipping details.

    + Work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or order-related issues.

    + Monitor order progress and provide timely updates to customers.

    + Coordinate shipments by collaborating with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.

    + Respond to customer inquiries and manage changes, cancellations, or returns.

    + Maintain organized records of orders, communications, and related documentation.

    + Generate reports and summaries on order status and customer interactions.

    + Support continuous improvement efforts with input on process enhancements.

    + Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards throughout the order process.

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year of experience in order entry or a related role.

    • Proficiency in SAP for order management tasks.

    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to address inquiries effectively.

    • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
