Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bingham Farms, Michigan. This is a contract position with potential for a long-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the real estate and property management industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage various accounting tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.

• Assist with general accounting functions, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial documents.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial operations.

• Collaborate with team members to support property management accounting needs.

• Handle inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Prepare reports and summaries for management review.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal staff to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Basic experience in accounting or a related field; light experience is acceptable.

• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work fully in-office in Bingham Farms, Michigan.

• Prior experience in property management accounting is a plus.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
