    Description We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Mystic, Connecticut. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage various human resources functions, including onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing administrative tasks with interpersonal responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process, including orientation sessions, welcome materials, and department-specific checklists.

    • Track and maintain employee schedules while ensuring compliance with licensing and certifications.

    • Organize and schedule interviews, including pre-screenings, for open positions.

    • Develop and update job descriptions to reflect current organizational needs.

    • Monitor employee satisfaction through surveys, aiming for high participation rates.

    • Assist with open enrollment processes and ensure HR compliance with state and federal regulations.

    • Facilitate employee appreciation events, such as cultural fairs and staff recognition galas.

    • Maintain HRIS systems, including Oracle and ADP, to streamline payroll and record-keeping processes.

    • Manage administrative projects such as bulletin board updates and termination documentation.

    • Participate in safety committee meetings and document minutes for organizational records. Requirements • Proven experience in human resources coordination or administration.

    • Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Oracle and ADP, as well as Microsoft Office applications.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Familiarity with onboarding processes and relevant procedures.

    • Knowledge of HR compliance standards and regulations.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to track and audit certifications, licenses, and other critical employee documentation.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. TalentMatch®
