    Description

    One of our Fortune 500 clients is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their dynamic, fast-growing team! In this role, you will support the Payroll department in a variety of clerical duties, and you will be responsible for data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments.

    The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will be over:

    + Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals

    + Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

    + Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.

    + Answering questions regarding benefits.

    + Data entry into Excel and the ADP payroll system

    Requirements

    Requirements – Payroll and Benefits Specialist

    Education and Experience:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    + 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.

    Technical Skills:

    + Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Excel.

    + Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.

    + Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.

    Soft Skills:

    + High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
