Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing financial operations. The role requires expertise in full-cycle accounts payable processes, vendor reconciliation, and resolving invoice discrepancies, all while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, and payment.

• Perform daily reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring all information is accurate and current.

• Resolve discrepancies in invoices by working closely with vendors and internal teams.

• Ensure timely processing of expense reports and vendor payments.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.

• Collaborate with the team to optimize accounts payable workflows and procedures.

• Assist with the transition and integration of financial systems, ensuring smooth operations.

• Provide training and support to team members on accounts payable processes as needed.

• Work with multiple vendors to manage accounts and maintain positive relationships. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.

• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes and reconciliation.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance.

• Experience in handling expense reporting and vendor management.
