Description We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions to support scalable and reliable SaaS applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, automate workflows, and enhance system reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions that support production-grade SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments, particularly within AWS, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters and associated database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to enable consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues related to networking, load balancing, and database configurations.
• Create abstractions and frameworks to streamline local development environments and workflows.
• Implement caching and other performance optimization techniques to improve system efficiency.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance automation and infrastructure management. Requirements • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles requiring attention to detail.
• Strong background in managing infrastructure for SaaS applications, preferably in startup environments.
• Experience with AWS and operating production Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting networking, database performance, and system configuration issues.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and scripting for automation tasks.
