. Technical Leadership and Excellence - You have 10+ years in architecting, building and operating production SaaS services as a lead or staff engineer. You’re fluent in running a product pod of engineers, leading them through daily standups, planning sprints, and maintaining a sprint board. Startup Mindset & Creativity – You are comfortable with ambiguity, can self-direct, and have a bias for action. You don’t wait for directions, you find opportunities, experiment, and execute. You’re able to lead more entry level engineers through AI Experience & Innovation – You are curious about AI and have hands-on experience with LLMs, automation, and AI-driven solutions. You understand the limitations and best applications of Generative AI in real-world production environments. Full-Stack Development – You have experience with REST APIs, LLMs, modern web frameworks, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and backend languages. You are comfortable with our tech stack: NodeJS / NestJS Prisma PostgreSQL OpenAI / Gemini Google Cloud Platform Engage in and improve the whole life-cycle of services from inception and design, through to deployment, operation and refinement. Support services before they go live through activities such as system design, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
