    Description

    Our client is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper for an onsite position in SE Houston. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage financial records with precision and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing accounting software and tools to support accurate reporting and analysis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, JE and GL

    • Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency across all financial accounts.

    • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

    • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

    • Monitor financial transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

    Requirements

    • Experience as an Accountant/ Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

    • Proficiency with an ERP and Microsoft Excel-Pivot Tables

    • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Familiarity with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
