Description
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contract management? An established energy company is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join its legal department on a full-time basis. This essential role ensures the seamless management of contracts to support the organization's operations and compliance goals.
Position Overview:
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a critical role in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and agreements that align with the company’s legal and operational standards. You will serve as the bridge between internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and third-party vendors or clients, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly defined and executed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Contract Management: Draft, review, and revise contractual agreements such as supplier contracts, service agreements, and NDAs to maintain consistency and compliance with legal standards.
+ Compliance Oversight: Ensure all contracts adhere to regulatory requirements and corporate policies, particularly those related to energy laws and regulations.
+ Document Control: Maintain organized and centralized records of contracts while managing tracking systems for key deadlines, renewals, and amendments.
+ Risk Mitigation: Identify and flag potential risks or ambiguities in contract terms, collaborating with legal counsel to resolve issues effectively.
+ Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, operations, and legal counsel, to ensure alignment on contractual agreements and processes
Requirements
+ Experience: Minimum of 3 years of contract administration experience within legal departments, ideally in the energy sector.
+ Technical Skills: Proficient in contract management systems, document tracking tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
+ Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law, energy compliance regulations, and industry-specific standards.
+ Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and robust communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
