Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in Torrance, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their financial needs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide detailed information about banking products and services to address customer needs and recommend solutions.

• Resolve account inquiries and concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Process checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks in compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.

• Balance cash drawers daily and verify the accuracy of transactions in end-of-day reporting.

• Implement security measures to minimize risks and prevent fraudulent activities within the branch.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch objectives and ensure seamless operations.

• Answer inbound and outbound calls to address customer questions and provide support.

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective service. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably within a call center or financial services environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling customer inquiries effectively.

• Proficiency in order entry and handling inbound and outbound calls.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with banking policies and procedures, or willingness to learn.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer concerns.

• Commitment to upholding security standards and compliance regulations.
