Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant or Bookkeeper to join our team in Hendersonville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining compliance with established standards. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization through diligent reporting and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Process daily vendor invoices, utility bills, and other incoming financial documentation.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations with accuracy and efficiency.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, including cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets.

• Reconcile credit card transactions and bank accounts to ensure accurate financial records.

• Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger in alignment with accounting principles.

• Support the month-end close process by verifying and finalizing financial data.

• Collaborate with the General Manager to address financial queries and provide updates.

• Monitor purchases made by maintenance teams and ensure proper documentation.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain reliable financial records.

Requirements • Proficiency in processing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and bank reconciliation processes.

• Experience with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

• Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
