Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Supply Technician to support FBI/REU in Quantico, VA. The Supply Technician perform specific aspects of technical supply management work, including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The work is typically organized by a commodity area or function and is controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments generally pertain to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The role often involves handling individual case problems or supply actions, which may require consideration of program requirements along with specific variations from standardized guidelines..

Assignments require:

• Solid working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

• Understanding of the needs of the organization being serviced.

Analytical ability to define or recognize the scope of problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and take or recommend action based on the application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in supply, logistics, warehousing, or related fields is required.

• Successful completion of the CGI Background Investigation, which includes a 50-state criminal check, education, and employment verification, is necessary. Additionally, a credit and/or driving records check may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.

• Possession of a TOP SECRET security clearance is required to commence employment, and the ability to maintain this clearance is necessary for continued employment. U.S. citizenship is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Must be able to manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet critical deadlines.

• A valid driver's license and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. are required.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Hourly Rate: $38.79/hour

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
